Definition of diet

A diet is the amount of food that is provided to an organism in a 24-hour period, regardless of whether or not cover maintenance needs, in short is the set of nutrients that are then absorbed from the habitual food consumption

In the case of humans, the diet is erroneously associated with the practice of restricting food intake to just get the nutrients and energy required, and to achieve or maintain a certain body weight.

 

Anorexia

Origin neurotic disorder characterized by a systematic rejection of food and is usually seen in young people
 

symptoms 
Excessive weight-loss in a short space of time.
-Feeling Constant obesity,
repeatedly -mirarse the mirror
-pesarse several times daily, counting calories
Stunting and development (in children and adolescents
-Alterations Menstruation or absence of this.
-Realization Constant and excessive exercise.
-Employment Baggy clothes, especially pants.
Avoiding foods company.
Running away from the table after eating.
